Hello everyone, I hope that some of you have the solution to the following problem that occurs in assigning a material to a certain family copy with revit 2012. we put the simple example of wanting to create a perimeter composed of 4 walls (basic walls) and want to assign to each wall a different material (4 walls,4 materials).
on revit 2010 I proceeded by duplicating for 4 times a system family (basic) and through the project browser I assigned the various materials to the 4 new families. each of the 4 walls was so assigned to the family consideration and I could have 4 walls with 4 different materials. I just passed to the new revit 2012 and I can't do this anymore: with the same process the setting of other duplicate families is automatically changed and all walls become of the same material. Does anyone know why? Thank you.
