material for railing balustrades

help!
I have to assign the material to the railing. for the current material the material can easily decide it in the current structure tab > current modification, but for the balustrades? in the balustrade positioning board there is no trace of materials! ! ! !
Maybe it will be a stupid question!!! but help help!

hi silvia, to set the balustrade material in the project browser extend the category 'families' and then balustrades. here you will find all the balustrades loaded, select the one you need, button dx > properties. Now you can assign the material.
If you have built the balustrade family you must obviously insert the material between the parameters of the type, as you would do to make the material parametric for any object.
