materials

hi, they gave me a file of archicad 10, where I saw that there are so many materials that I can use in that file, how do I import some of those mariali into another file?
I could copy the settings.... but isn't there a faster way?

in archicad 12;
options > attribute factor attribute managers >material (pin)
click sdu open (right button) and select the pln file where there are the materials that interest you.select them all (or just some) and click on Add
