Good morning to all, the problem that comes to me is this with wf3.
I have to add textures on printed circuit boards, so save bitmap or jpeg from the electronic cad program (average 5 mega, but sometimes I also get to 15 mega) and I have to paste the texture on the front of the board.
I amount the graphic file in the image editor, and then I do some operations that I have experienced randomly not finding docuemntation but that almost always work and that's:
1) I create the alpha channel, (even if I don't know what it is and what it is for)
2) except the file in tx4 format (I don't know what difference is between tx3 and tx4)
3) I then go to the color editor and do the round creating the matrial with texture etc.
almost always works everything, sometimes I don't know what to correct it, from the imported jpeg in the editor does not save the tx4. I must therefore regret the image in attempts of 10% or 20% until it exports correctly.
I ask therefore if someone knows if there are limits of the importable image, the problem to me presents it seems randomly unrelated to the dimension.
second thing, once you put the texture I see perfectly the pcb on the board, but when I carry it with edrawing the textures are mirrored, that is, if I see them straight in proe I am on the contrary in edrawing, so I am forced to have the right design in edrawing to mirror them on proe.
Can someone tell me how to overcome this problem and the previous one?
Moreover, does anyone know how to explain the difference between textures or decals if applied to one surface? (I think the same thing seems to me that the texture is more suitable for a material that can also be worked like wood, marble etc.)
Thank you.
