measure engine ignition cover

hi to everyone, I'm new to the forum and I don't even know if I'm writing in the right section.
However I wanted to ask how I can do to take the measurements of this mechanical piece (the photo I have attached it, I hope you see). My aim was to be able to copy it on solidworks but I don't know how to measure all the fittings and positions of the holes since we only draw cauliflowers at school.

for the fittings you need what vulgarly is called "reach meter"

the positions of the holes should be at 120°, unless the designer was a "particular" type.
Just detect the radius of the center of one of these and you're fine.
do everything with the common measuring instruments by ingesting you a little, if you have a 3d measuring machine at your disposal.
