mechanical machining and command moves face

practically, for the chassis of the machines we produce, I have created a welded assembly containing the main parts that compose it (as in figure 1) after which, according to my needs, with the command preparation and mechanical processing -> move face, extend the 4 plates and the 4 tubulars of the measure that I need, serialize the section and add what I need, until I get my frame (figure 2)

in the base that I am making this time instead, I wanted to insert threaded holes through the command "mechanical processing" and I realized that until I create the sketch and these holes are placed on the unlonged tubular, the holes are positioned and displayed correctly, those that instead lie on the plate from the point where I stretched it instead not. from figure 2, the 4 holes that you see are positioned correctly, next, should be there other 4 that but do not display them to me.

Can you tell me why?

use the face shift for frames of your production and that you will repeat several times, changing its size, it is a bad way of working, you have already noticed.
I move it to make use only to buffer a consolidated situation in which it is necessary to make a change quickly.
I have already found someone who criticized me for using this command, and I must say I can't blame him.

What could be another way of working in my case?

the chassis generator I removed it immediately because as I said, with the process that aduced, I create an iam, I extend the frame as it serves, I put some bonds and maximum in 10 minutes I have my finished base
