merger and reworked

hello to everyone, I'd need advice if possible.
I should practically create a part in caia v5 r18 of an object made of fusion (until here no problem); how do I then create the reworked part taking as reference the part of the fusion?
I'll explain better: I need you to change the model of the fusion, and you have to change the reworked.

Maybe you could create a first catpart with the melting part. then cover the partbody as result with link in another catpart and add the processes. changing the first will also update the second
