hello to all, mine is more a curiosity than a real question.
If I have a model in ansys and for my personal taste I wanted to remesh it with another software (type hupermesh) I could do it?
and then import everything back into ansys? ?

can you do with other finite element software?

you're a little confused... separates the geometric concept from the mathematical model concept.
if you have geometry you can meshare in ansys or hypermesh
If you have a mesh ansys you can import it into hypermesh and vice versa.

cfd exists the cgns standard, which should support any type of cfd data. so in theory you could create mesh with any meshatore and solve with any solutor as long as they support the standard.

in the fem world I do not know if there are "universal" standards for the management of mesh elements, but I do not believe, also because in the fem, as it says well eih64, the definition of mesh elements is not purely geometric, it also contains the mathematical definition of the elements, so I fear that everyone does a little as they believe, and the expected interchange of data is possible only through filters suitable for this application only.
