metric walls - unit cost

Hello, guys, I have a problem with the metric computation.
I have different types of wall, all with different layers and materials.
I entered the cost of each single wall in the property card because I do not know the individual prices of materials but I only have the unit cost per square meter.
the problem on the plot, is that the total cost for each wall (given by the area for the cost inserted in the type property) is multiplied by "piu" areas as are the stratigraphies of the various packages.
Domandona is, how do I have a unit cost for individual walls?
Is there a way to assert one area on the plot? as if it were considered a single layer?
I'm losing my mind. I hope only it is not too simple (always if it is possible to do so), because in this case you can also insult me...

If you want a simple computation by type of wall, the abacus must be a simple abacus, not a computation of material. so:

Thanks for the answer, I'll try to work on it.

I'm asking for one last thing. If I have a wall consisting of 4 layers, in the count for "type", revit returns me as value 4! Actually, it's a single wall! so I would like to read 1!
how can you get this value automatically?
Thank you very much

I tried to change the previous message but I couldn't, cause time out!

I wanted to add that following the method of alfredo the problem does not arise.

I have always tried to use the computation instead of the abbot thinking it was more complete, but in this case it was only complicating my life.
At this point I ask you for further courtesy. Do you have any links that explain the differences thoroughly?

Thanks again!!! !

the difference is that the simple abacus 1) makes you a list of all elements of the category, for example, walls.
the other type of abacus 2) is used to make a list of materials or gstrates found inside walls (or other categories).

Very good! Thank you very much for your help! :finger:
