migration from swx2009 to swx 2011

hello to every day I will officially pass from the version of solidworks 2009 to 2011.
I press that solid files we manage them with 1 pdm (autodesk productstream professional), and machine delivered we validate them (we put them read only)

working with 2011 will happen that in the field together I will retrieve many files modeled with 2009.
how to weigh together, and computer speed
Does it change anything if there are parts modeled with 1 previous version inside the set?
should you put them in writing and save them in version 2011?
if someone found themselves in 1 condition similar what would I recommend?

as every time you go to the next release of sw it would be good to convert everything or what you use most because it is slowing is inevitable. I recommend you switch to 2012 which is really a performance jump especially with 64 bits.
