milling of a tab

hello good morning, I would like to know if you can help me understand how to mill this seat/language inside this cylinder. They told me to try with profile processing but I can not select the upper and lower level of the tab.in attached a photo of the particular,thanks in advance.

hi, if you can't select the plans you can also untie a point as reference. alessandro

the profile you have, you just need to find the starting point and arrival point. if you can't "pick" the superifice, alternatively you can take a top and bottom point (or the same point and give it a offset)
