mirror feature

Good morning to all
I would have this question:
when I mirror a feature in wf3 example a hole this should be the exact copy of the original and so far nothing strange but if I change the original hole because the mirrored copy does not update?

it seemed to me that the copy was dependent on the original and therefore should follow the changes (even a simple increase in length of the hole )

have you verified that in the mirroring options there is the check on "copy as an employee" ?
