Good morning to all,
I write about a difficulty with pro-e wildfire 5.0 in modeling parts in the environment together.
I have to model the "b" part using a profile of the "a" part (e.g. a geometry of the hole-perne type).
I proceed as follows:
- active the part "b";
- I define the sketch plan and its references;
- use command. but the attempt to use the lines of the profile belonging to "a" does not show.

we checked with a colleague the procedure on pro-e 4 and it works properly.
is the procedure correct or is something wrong? or do you need to define a set on the sw?

thanks to all and good day

?

someone has modified the config.pro and set you a variable that does not allow the use of external references in wf5, so at the procedure level it does not miss anything.
If you've been sected, I'm afraid a reason will be there.
this is the option to set so that it functions:

default_ext_ref_scope = all

probably at this moment the value is on ninth.
check the reason before you change it.
greetings

Good morning ozzy,
Thank you for the answer. I checked the log file is the parameter is set to skeleton_model. set on all works.

Thank you.

of nothing, the other hypothesis was to inhibit only external references to skeletons.
