good morning to all, my name is paolo and design molds for plastics.

I don't know if this is the right forum but a week ago my client made me know a new supplier who designs some stamps with catia, I think verse 6 but I'm not sure.
Anyway he showed me some designs, very normal, and a couple of molds, nothing that, when though I knew the price of the catia package, I repeat I think the version six but I'm not sure, I'm bounced and I pretended nothing.
he all gastronomy organized a meeting with the seller that I didn't understand at all who he is.

before we lose time to others, and especially to me, I would like to know if the various tools for moldists that it offers and the solutions for modeling justify such an exorbitant cost.

I conclude that the project moulds are particularly complicated : third and fourth plate, delayed movements and generally all mechanical, I tend to refuse to make projects with pneumatic or hydraulic solutions.

not knowing which software you use, I can tell you that it has been v5 for about 3 years to design thermoplastic molds quite complex.
knowing it thoroughly, the sofware turns out to be very powerful. personally, if I could choose, I would prefer to have additional packages of cinematic simulation (for the study of particularly complex movements and mechanisms) and knowledge (with a little time you can realize really useful automations),as long as the tool package I think (personal opinion) is not indispensable. As for prices, I don't know them in detail, but I think they're aligned to other "high-end" software.
