monitor resolution problem

I am an enrolled novella and, as I wrote more below, thank you and still thank you for the valuable advice!

if you have 2010 or prec. try to increase monitor resolution or enter the registry editor, look for this key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R18.0\ACAD-8000:410\Profiles\AutoCAD\Dialogs\Bhatch]and check that the "x" and "y" values are within the resolution of your monitor.

e.g. if your screen has 1280x1024 resolution and x and y values are set respectively at 1440 and 1200 then the box appears out of limits. shows the above values, e.g., 300 and 300

I want to try and fix a huge problem that plagues me for a couple of weeks... I bought a notebook with 4k resolution.. The screen is only 15 inches and autocad can't hold the resolution so high! even lowering to 2500 x 1440 I can work well but just open some windows like driving or options see the tiny characters or on the contrary huge! certainly is a problem of resolution! I tried to follow your path to evaluate the current settings of the resolution but the names of the last folders do not match... However the bhatch values are 0 in my profile in use and I did not touch them because my problems do not concern the restraints but the font size in the various dialog boxes or in the command bar... How can I set the autocad resolution to align with my screen?

problem already dealt here in other post. brings the monitor resolution to 1680 and you will see that it is resolved.

I would like to ask the Commissioner whether he is going to be able to do so. Moreover it compels me to use photoshop that has adapted to the high levels of resolution of the new monitors much below its possibilities.. my question is: instead of forcing the resolution I cannot force the internal variables of autocad to make it work at double resolutions than the standards?

No, you can't.
Um, to get photoshop to work under your chances... on a 15" display (!)
I make him work under his chances, but on a 24."
cmq already at the resolution of 2500*1440 on a 15" you are almost 200dpi... that I believe beyond the physical limit of the resolution of your retina (of the series the monitor represents more pixels than you can distinguish)

The problem is not 4k resolution, rather the diagonal of the screen on which it is represented.

hi, I am new in the forum and reading the above I noticed that I too have the same similar problem of resolution with my xps from 13". I would like to know, if the problem was solved and if yes, how. in particular my big problem with autocad remain the texts in the huge property window, in addition to the same problematic in the drop-down menus of "line type control and color control". Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately I don't have much good news to give... I to be able to work smoothly I reduced the resolution of the screen from 4k to full hd and left the radiation recommended by windows 10 for characters and windows i.e. 125%. Although it does not feel a solution but rather a palliative, in this way I can work without the problems that you mention. I have really tried so many before, including a screen customization and modification of some parameters of the register but with no success.. seems that you should wait for the next version of autocad.. Maybe. .
