Good morning to all... I have a problem with revit architecture 2008, I have produced an elaborate, i.e. I have built plans from a table imported from autocad, the problem is that when I try to move a single floor to put it under or above another in order to match the walls, the program modifies me of the objects, how to stretch the walls, or delete me of the objects... thanks for the attention
...revit is not the pongo, every element that composes the project relates to others...if you have a wall that goes from level 0 to level 1 and move the latter the wall will rise or lower accordingly. Similarly, some elements may not be represented anymore. the correct method to reconstruct a project starting from a dwg is to import the files into the views that lead to previously created levels and then use them as a track setting the right relationships between objects. By becoming to your problem a solution could be to create new levels at the right odds, then select all the objects of the plan that you have already created copy them in the notes and paste them on the new level possibly moving them to the correct positions.
