Hello, everyone.

I looked in the forum, but maybe my problem is so banal that it was never discussed.... .
However, I would like to eliminate or minimize the portion of quota line that is between the text of the quota and the arrow (for reasons of encumbrance within the table).
I attach image hoping that it is more understandable. the red cross indicates the portion of line of quota that I would like to move.

Going on options> drafing> manipulators> share manipulators I have changed the option to manually move the text and approach it, the problem is that after I can no longer align the texts in the accumulated quotas.

Thank you.

Okay, I went into the xml discussion, and I realized that it wasn't so trivial............ .
I followed the procedure

enter as admin;
copy a xml to edit it;
enter the environment editor and assign to the variable catreferencesettingspath the value csidl_appdata\dassaultsystemes\catsettings, (the same as the catusersettingpath below)

in the discussion the user who had reported the value of this variable was uncertain about the goodness of the solution, but in my case as it turns out effective to enter the standards of the tools and note that the edit fields of the various options are editable.

the problem is that I receive a catcollectionstandard activation error, since in the editor the variable is empty.
I tried to insert (without a real logic) again csidl_appdata\dassaultsystemes\catsettings but it was useless.

Do you have any tips to give me on the value of this variable?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Thank you.

Waiting for answers I tried to unleash and I realized that any changes I made by admin (simple changes in style of quotas) were not taken into account when creating a new drawing.
This despite, entering as a user, in the stumenti\standard panel, the xml created by me in the drafting category is already preset and expected of my changes.

So....how can I make the xml operational from me created?
I attach an image of my editor in the hope that some more experienced colleagues of me may notice any errors.

one thing doesn't fit me: the paths circled in red do not exist in my pc. why???? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Hello and thank you

if I'm not mistaken now you have to point the design on the new xml -> file -> set page -> standard -> choose xml -> ok

cunning:
1. open empty carts and make them bet on new xml
2. save them again

now to every new design you will create you will already have the updated xml

x mocca

Thanks to the answer but that discussion I had already inspected it after message and I was indispensable to have a picture of the situation.

in the specific however falonef caught in the sign:finger::finger::finger:

that was my final problem, I had never noticed the choice of xml in the page tax!!! ! ! !

thanks to all, and in particular falonef

ps: I was probably wrong to open another discussion instead of agreeing to that quoted by mocca....I apologize with all of you

cunning 2:
Always use empty carts with open function -> save as.

In this way you will always use the same uuid of the docuemto catdrawing.

if you don't have a pdm behind it, it will be useful in case of loss of files.

now that I have solved my problems, I am even more curious to know why in my environment editor the paths of "global environments" and "user ambitions" do not exist.
in particular, looking in disk c:\ I have no dassault systemes folder inside documents and settings. On the contrary when I saved my xml with caty administrator mode, the path was exactly that of the editor.
you can give me a reply:confused::confused:

-make a change of xml
-note date and above all change time
- Then do a global search for now edit files
- You should find the files and where they point

Let us know
I care to see where you were aiming ... theoretically in the catenv should already be indicated ...

Bye-bye

I did exactly as you said and the search did not find any xml files created by me:confused::confused::confused:

but found a nvwsapps.xml inside c:\windows\system32 do not know what it is.

I would like to emphasize that the modification I made was working instantly and that my pc has a single partition of the hard drive c

Hi.

yes but the problem is not solved because it is good habit to make a copy of the catenv and xml setting so in case of problemo delete everything and recover copies of these settings

Unfortunately, I have not solved the problem.
my xml for any backup I find them in

c:\programs\dassault systemes\b19\win_b64\resources\standard\drafting

However of the catenv folder there is no trace, much less of the dassault systemes folder in documents and settings where my editor points.
I attached an image of my editor in one of the previous posts.
