new autocad and 3d

Hello excuse me for the question, I wanted to ask you why when amounting a file of autocad in 3d studio max and then I apply the materials (always in 3ds) the colors are turned off? How can I solve this? the best program to render what is it? thanks and hello to all

"the colors are turned off" doesn't have much meaning, put an image and see where the problem is.

the best program does not exist, there is the capacity to know how to use the software (any it is) and the mastery of the variables that lead to the result of a good render (photography, lighting, modeling, etc...).
