new editable column in abaco

I'm creating a piece of materials. I would like to insert a column inside which the unit size for each material should be inserted. I'm trying to insert a blank column but once I do, I can't insert any value inside it. Can anyone help me?

Good morning, I try to explain myself better. I would like to create a column inside which I would like to insert the unitary dimension of each element of my coating, for example: the kitchen tiles have a unit size of 0.75m^2. I would like, then, to divide this data for the total area of the coating to be able to obtain the orientation number of tiles to be used. to do this, I have inserted a blank column called "unity" within which I would like to insert the data. However, once you create the column, I can't insert the data inside.

I tried to create it both through "new parameter", leaving all default settings except "type of parameter" setting it in "number", and through "fx" where I didn't change anything. Thank you very much for your help!

if you create it as a formula (fx) obviously will not make you write anything inside because the content is calculated. for which category did you create the material compute? for floors?

If you create it as a new parameter, however, you should fill it in. I just tried for scruple but I was more than sure it worked. in the compute materials are you listing all instances or are grouped?

I simply added the parameter "material: area", a column called "unitarian dimension" (in which I would have liked to insert the size) and a column that I called "quantity" created with fx that should have divided the area of the coating for the parameter "unitarian dimension".

I don't know how to thank you! I found the mistake. If I create a compute "multicategoria" I can't enter my parameter in the "muro" category and it doesn't let me insert the values. if, instead, I create the compute by selecting directly the category "muro" works all. Thank you so much!
