Good morning, everyone!

Unfortunately, I am not very advantageous to the theoretical tire and I am faced with a request from a client that I cannot satisfy.
practically the customer has purchased our machine that will be placed in a new area of the factory and asks me the specifications that will have the compressor in nlt/min

using the various software of the manufacturers of pneumatic components (festo, smc, etc.), I calculated that our machine, rounding, consumes 300 lt/min of compressed air at 6 bar per cycle (1,500 lt/min for the 5 cycles/min that will do).
But the customer asks me the data in nlt/min, how do I calculate it?

Moreover, on another machine always powered at 6 bar, we have an air blow inside a tube with internal ø 2 mm to 0.3 bar regulated by a pressure gauge that lasts 5 seconds. What will your consumption be?

thanks to those who will help me

Hi.

300 lt/min at 6 bar are 1800 nlt/min per single cycle. 9000 nlt/min for 5 cycles.
so I just need to multiply lt/min by pressure and possibly by the number of cycles... That's it? 😲😲
the pressure at 6 bar already use in the calculation of the air consumption (cylinder, ø stelo, run) then I have to reuse it for the calculation of nlt/min?

1 nl = 1 litre of air at 1 bar
so if I fill a 300 litre cylinder with air from 300 liters to 6 bar I will have inside 1800lt to 6 bar. according to pv=nrt..

at the following request, I tried to make an estimate of air consumption. attached, see the pdf file with all my steps. apart from my calligraphy, I am ready to receive every comment/critical, so as to discuss the values I estimate (probably are wrong or meaningless).
