Good morning to all,
I recently installed nx5 on win7, almost everything works... because the "translators" (files for format conversion, which in my case are in a shared network folder).

e.g. in the translation in dxf (ug to 2d), gives me the message "impossible to find the specified path..." - but the path recalled for the translator is actually correct. . .

the export in pdf does not go well and the message is generic.. "unknown system error"

Help!?

Is nx5 32 or 64?
I tried with the 64 version of nx and everything works.
I suspect that there are some files of the converters pointing to the wrong path, the 32-bit prg are installed in the c:\program files folder (x86).

nx5 is 64 bit... are the translators that have remained "the ones of before" (i.e. the same ones that are used with xp) being shared on the net...

Can it be some setup problem on ugii_env?

Actually, I'm interested in "dialogue" nx with solidworks, for the 3d there's no problem, but the drafting...? ? If I don't take it out, how can I handle it?

2 things:
1) nx5 is not supported on w7. It is not said that it does not go, but it was not brought.
2) you should still mount all nx5 to 64bit... otherwise add another casino.

I take the opportunity to tell you that from nx8 the only s.o. supported windows will be, with all probability, w7.
So, if you're thinking about it, act.. .

the first thing that comes to mind is that even 64bit translator dll files, must be moved to the network directory

reinstalling... and pointing on local translators.. recovery several features, for example I can export with "export dxfdwg" but not with "export 2d exchange". . .

in particular the conversion program starts.. read the views and then stay in stall without advancing.
(so if I try to export to dxf with 2d exchange, but even if I export to a new part drafting always with 2d exchange)

the conversion of the dxfdwg is not bad but the table completes the meeting not in the space "model" but in the space so-called "card" (layout) and I no longer know how to editate it... You know how to do that?

Hello, did you then solve the issue of pdf export? and if so how?

Thank you.
