Hello, everyone.
I'll explain my problem.
I have the model of a cinema and the huge amount of armchairs to insert creates problems with the weight of the file, which becomes exorbitant.
I model in rhino and amount in 3ds 2009.
I thought I would use my proxies, importing in 3ds a single armhole modeled in rhino, to make proxies and multiply in 3ds.
the armchair that I have is formed by multiple surfaces, is not a single object, and if I have understood well, in forming the proxy you select one element at a time, or at least I can only do so.
Am I wrong? If I'm not mistaken, is there a 3ds way to make the various surfaces a single object (I don't know for nothing the 3ds modeling)?
Thank you all!
