pregi: absolutely indicated for those who make many reliefs on components with cavities otherwise not detectable with optical instruments except by destructive cutting of the component.
defects: cost (you know that they really cost a lot), limited field of work, the weight that makes it not usable as a portable measuring instrument and the impossibility to use mechanical probes to measure individual points or to obtain boolean with a few clicks.
