My problem is that when I want to access the online guide, or by pressing f1 or by selecting jude and following cat guide v5, I see the window "documentation installation path".
I can't open it soon.

It is preferable that if you do not find the suggestion open a new discussion with an appropriate title.

if you don't have any special needs (an amount of curves and points), you can do this:


create the curve
with the command repeat points create points
with double click on the command line so that the command remains active even after theok
with the new command, select the curve and the next point (until the end of the points)

let's say you save a click for each next point (this applies to all commands, i.e. with the double click "remain with the barrel shot")

I tried to create the loop for normal lines at the curve (it's the first time I use a script, so you always check the final result)

open the file (v5r19)
deactivate the loop.1 (in relationships)
eliminates all udf in result1
in point1 group deletes all points except point.1
with the repeat command of points insert how many points you need
in double-click parameters list.1
remove all points
select all the points you have created
add the points you created to the list (and ok)
activates the loop
double click on the loop and then ok

find the lines in result1

I can’t “point” the lines on a new sketch, the result you see from the image, I can do it but individually.
Then, I can’t select the new bridges to add to the list all together (click _maiuscolo) but I have to select them individually.
However it is a very remarkable step forward! I would like to have some documentation to deepen the topic.

If you want to point the line of a new sketch, do this:

selections sketch.1
button dx replace
select the sketch.2

to select the points: hold down shift (cold up to the sides of the zxcvbnm row) and select the first and then the last point.

to create automation -

you can get the same result with a minor

and also that, using kpt, you can get the same result
with different scripts

in the first case with the script I create several lists (-points and line )...
In fact, to think, we only need normal lines.
at the curve, as a final result
in the second case I created a single list (line) for the result of our interest-

in a single list ( result of the sum of the kpt list and that of
containing the missing initial line, manually inserted,
for further use

there are also more complex vb script ways to get the same

It's not very clear what you want to do. .
I think I understand that the lines you need from path to create
a solid, which I think you will have to add or subtract to another body-

If so, I personally recommend using the lines, collected
in the list, in knowpattern node, to instigate a udf (or a part template, if you work with a product )
to say that:
udf instancy can be done, with a loop or with a kpt script, without this being saved
in a catologist arm,
in the case of the loop, only if it is created in the same part document.. .
and in the case of kptsolo script if you are created
at the same time as its creation, a script type.....to be saved in the appropriate folder (type custom) ;
while the listing of a template part can only be done in product environment and provided that
has been saved in an arm catalog..
to tell you that,
at this point, the thing I recommend and the following:

creates a udf that has as drive input only one line, creates your shape, attention using
only the line as unique (parent father)
, name it, and save it

If theudf is a solid, to create it you have to use a boolean assemblies, that is to say you have to add
your solid result to an empty body....,
and at the creation of the udf you must point the node assemblies,
after which you can proceed to instigate it, grouping it in a single body
