open view of a mirrored part! !

Good morning to all,
I have met the following problem in a table lately:
I own two main subaxiemes a and b of which the second (b) is the mirror of the first (a) in the sense that some parts ( 90%) inside are the mirror of the parts of the first subaxieme.
to do this I simply used the symmetry command in the assembly environment and then I deleted the parts (in b) that I did not need mirrors.
in the first subaxieme to I have a part built in sheet metal design environment of which I designed the open view, that, for simplicity, I will call part1. Now at the moment when I am drawing the table of the symmetric part1 which is in b (which is a different piece because symmetrical and not an anniversary) does not allow me to create the open view and gives me the following error.

"The selected solid is null. open view command cannot be applied to the selected solid"

Do any of you know what it means or have you ever had such a problem? ?

thanks to all in advance

Hi.

I believe it depends on the fact that the symmetry created in the assembly environment, generates an as result with connection for which the object is copied without its design specifications or features (maintaining the link only), so the command selects a solid that does not contain the features necessary to allow the creation of the open view.

or use the original for open view, or clone it and insert the symmetry inside the full body of the features or put a symmetry note related to the issue in the design.. .

Thank you for your answer. In fact, within the symmetrical object there is only a partbody with inside the boolean assembly that contains in turn the body called by catia 'body from the original partbody', which in turn contains a solid with connection. So I don't think I can do the open view. I will try to clone the original object and then perform symmetry as you indicated me.
As for the note on symmetry I don't know exactly how to do it. What should be written in the note?
Thank you very much again:finger:

I have solved:wink: thanks to gianni for the straight.
basically I did as you said, that is I copied the partbody of the object to mirror and glued it special inside a new part. because for the object to be copied I had already made the tables, between the special glue options (6 options instead of the usual 3!) appeared as result with connection all the views. I chose this as an option and the result was that in the partbody I no longer have a simple solid with connection but I have a solid shetmetal that I subsequently symmetryd.
in the table now I can choose and select the open view that is performed without problems:finger:

Thanks again for the advice:finger:

for notes, you must stick to the configuration of the cartilage that you usually use. recall with its file name xxx the particular designed and specific that (the file name yyy) is symmetric.
