Good morning
not being basically so experienced yet in solidwork I wanted to ask a question.
I often work with parts that need to be mirrored but normally they are equal to geometry, but most of the time on the mirror I have to remove holes etc etc. or add machining.
I tried but I couldn't.
better I managed to remove bodies in the mirror but not processing (type thread).
Is there a system that allows me to do this?
can you use the configuration directly in the component and make the mirrored as a configuration and then go to suppress in that the things I don't need?? ? ?
That's important to me.

thanks to all

solidwork 2009

then it's a long speech and there's a bug that solidworks hasn't solved since my May report.
I have always executed the right part, made the opposite hand side with mirror part, added the welds to the mirrored part and then hand filled the folders of the left part.
from 2010 sp 3.0 the swx has decided to automatically fill out the anagraphic properties of the folders of the mirrored parts and/or inserted without giving way to the user to put us hand and more wrongly filling out.
so in a moment you play the part but then you can't manage the chart. at the moment to do the sinister remodel from head or starting from the right what I need.
the thing should be evaluated case by case, if you want to post a file I can give us an eye and recommend the + fast mode.

Okay thanks as soon as I can get you the file.
However I managed to do something because I needed the mirrored part but remodelable because I have to remove some work and I managed to finish it.

Hi.
