Dear users, designers, students, children and those who have more of them.. .
I have given an eye but I have not found similar discussions, if something has already been said let me know.
Given that my point of view is thermotechnical designer, I have been thinking of creating my own standard for autocad, including styles, quotas and even a palette for layers.
right here is the question: how do you catalog your layers? And why? What drives you to a choice rather than another?for example from known experience that there are different philosophies to organize all the possibilities that autocad offers: there are those who assign colors from 1 to 9 of the different thicknesses forcing the black print color with a special ctb.
I prefer to keep the colors of the ctb as the object, while I manage the thicknesses with appropriate layers maybe all named 00 "nomelayer" so that I have them first in the list, so I can print without ctb avoiding misunderstandings in email sends.
High consideration, inside each block I use always use the color "from layer" and if I need the color 45 I create a special layer "00 color 45" with color 45, so if I have to adapt a design to a certain standard I just have to act on the layer control instead of going inside each block.
as you like and express your philosophical views on the fantastic world of standard cad.
thank you in advance for every tip.
