I would like to understand how much it weighs (I also need a generic response of the type "some hundred megabytes" rather than "a couple of giga") the update service pack 3.1 of solidworks 2010.

about 5,3 giga....
plus another little download that probably makes you do when you launch the installation (I think about 100 mega)
