Hello everyone,

work at an engineering company that develops chemical plants, for some time you are considering the use of software for drawing in 3d of such plants.
the disciplines involved in this change are several because of the architecture of the buildings up to the electrical, conditioning and process equipment.

for the moment I did a search on the site of the autodesk and I selected these programs:

autocad plant 3d
autocad mep
autocad architecture

I wanted to understand from those who already use them, the pros and cons of these programs, and if they are suitable for purpose. Moreover, the transition from a "traditional" design to an integrated system with such software brings a better balance of economic expenditure (training courses, licences etc.)?

Autocade Plant 3d
autocade mep
autocade architecture
plant 3d seems to me the best solution; mep is only for "civili" plants while architecture is an architectural design software (poco or nothing on plants).
look out also autocad p&id
