I press that I do not use ansys and that I have seen few things on the occasion of my activity of pre/post sale spaceclaim that is integrable to workbench.

considering my curiosity and the requests for information that often appear in the forum, I wondered if any ansys user expert could make an overview of how the ansys system is organized (from workbech to mechanical to various solutors)... the little I saw left me disoriented at the interface level.

probably my answer comes with a moment of delay but cmq....
I suggest that I am not a great ansys expert (I speak of worckbench 13 ) but I assure you that, having had to deal with patran and femap, it is the most intuitive and less difficult software to learn (at least to realize static, dynamic and thermal analysis ).
a series of modules should appear on the left, each of them dedicated.
Clicking on the specific form of your interest opens on the central part of the screen a menu that shows the various steps to be taken to complete the simulation you would like to do (from pre to post).
Now we assume that you have achieved a static analysis of a structure (mechanical module); at the end of it, returning to the reference icon of the main menu of ansys you will notice how the various steps required to finish the analysis will be checked (green ).
if to this analysis you want to follow a dynamic analysis, then clicking on modal(one of the many modules at your disposal), holding down the mouse button and bringing the pointer to the representative menu the steps of the static analysis just completed, will come out to the right of that menu a second menu that reports the steps that you have to perform in order to achieve the dynamic analysis ijn object, where those steps have already appeared (such as the design of the component or the previous selection).
other example:
realize a component with ansys design module.
always starting from the starting menu (which remains always on,while the modules available for simulations, if selected open on a different page and have an independent icon on the application bar) clicking on the module to realize high-level meshatures, holding the button and bringing the pointers to the munu relative to the design module, allows you to open the component just designed in the environment dedicated to the meshtura (which then in turn you can open mechanical environment
