In the sketch, I wanted to create a three-point parabola bow. the conical arc function with rho=0.5 creates a parable arc but allows you to select only start and end but not an intermediate point. How can you do differently?

once you create the arch, as you did, place a point and bind it as a coincidence on the arch. at this point the value of rho will disappear.
I hope that's what you wanted to do.

Okay, thank you, I'm trying to make myself feel okay.

I tried but it doesn't work. If I put the link between point and arch, it doesn't make me put it. I attach image. It doesn't allow me to force the connection between the curve and the point... in this way forcing rho to 0.5 however the possible parables for two points are infinite to the square... I solved by writing the hand equation and putting it in an excel sheet I got the parable points at regular intervals. So I made a pass curve for the points imported by excel. But if you could in the sketch it was faster and more perfect... .

Bye. careful that in the sketch stage you have the possibility to create 2 types of points:
construction point (red circle) and geometry point (green circle)
on construction point you can't make the arch coincide,
while on point geometry yes.

I know the difference between points, however, but it seems strange to me that it makes a difference between the two types of points... in any case thank you.

then I tried, I put 3 geometry points and the conical arc between the first and the last. If I don't confirm the rho=0.5 before I do it, while if I impose the rho=0.5 before I don't do it.. .
with three points the definition of rho disappears... If you have time maybe you try... thank you

Hi, with three points the definition of rho disappears to me too.
But I didn't understand. You want the arch to pass through the three points you set and have rho=0.5?

It seemed to me that you wanted the bow to pass for 3 points and not to be commandotop from rho, even because the two things cannot exist at the same time.
