parameterize a part from the axieme without creating a thousand configurations

would someone tell me if in solid works (2010) it is possible to put together a part with different configuration states, but defining a certain size directly from the axieme leaving it as a parameter?

the goal would be not to have to create all configuration and size combinations in the part, but to have in the part three configurations (e.g. right, left and central) and then from time to time that I insert it into the assembling to that part a different width.

to exemplify I might have an door of a furniture that could have a bevel to the right, left or both sides, then 3 possible configurations.

when I insert it into the furniture could serve me in 4 different heights and 3 widths. I would like to avoid creating all the combinations, and at the same time I would not like to create more parts to distribute the configurations but to keep a single one.

so the most comfortable solution would be to have a part that becomes me right, left or both, and whenever I insert that panel into the axieme I attribute the height and width values that I need.
