pc per catia v5

Hey, guys.

the complexity of the design is such that the pc currently in use no longer allows me to work forward: if I make a change the pc is nailed, technically speaking.

I would like to buy a notebook but I would not like to spend another 500 euri
Do you think an intel i5 processor is enough?
for the video card: ati, nvidia,...?
os: on windows 7 64bit does catia well?

However now I would like to ask: a picture 600 could be good considering that on http://www.nvidia.it/object/quadro-catia-it.html do they speak only of painting 2000 or higher?

I do not know catia however I assume both like other cads, bone requires certified cards and good hardware to be able to work well, but this does not mean that even with less performing pcs does not work.

at the present time the cads to make them turn to the best you use os win 7 to 64bit in order to manage more than 4gb of ram, and video cards certified nvidia framework (or related firepro fingers seems to me).

as an i5 processor for me is fine, as long as the whole system is well sized.

Save, sometimes you can solve by slightly decreasing video performance through the panel used to this.
not that you want to discourage for buying a new computer, but you have tried with settings just more "grossolane".
personally (when I work at home) I employ a supermarket computer, I only added ram and spent a hundred euros for the video card.
but I managed to work with dense and heavy assemblies and with parts composed by a few thousand surfaces.
