For some time our creo dealer is proposing to abandon the perpetual licenses to switch to the annual ones, I would like to understand whether or not this step should be taken into account that at present we have 13 licenses, we regularly renew the annual maintenance, and we are not interested in buying other forms or adding modules.

As far as I know, from next year, in the wake of other large corporations, even ptc will pass to a type of annual rent contract. And I don't think it's gonna be the old type of "purchase" license anymore.

I suppose the old licenses remain such and will certainly not be "spente". But I guess it won't be possible to keep them updated.

What an advantage it's hard to say. In some cases I think it might be interesting to be able to activate, even for one year, a useful specialist module, for example, for a specific project of limited duration ...

for now it's good like this, we'll see what they'll propose to us at the end of the day.

if you don't have to buy more...the profit is only for them and for the retailer
currently paid 13 maintenance contracts to the figure of?

I have spoken with ptc itali to evaluate a new purchase and have confirmed that from next year it will not be possible to buy perpetual licenses so I propose to directly evaluate the annual subscription.
