exa, what's that carrucola you see in the launch tube (photo 79-80)? Do you need to charge it or is the referral of the cable?

and then, how did the guiding thread work? Kind of like the game models?

Hello old.
I try to explain to you the function of the carrucola of the photo assuming I am on board and have to launch.
open the bottom of the launch tube, introduces the torpedo that goes to "support" on the guides that are seen inside the tube (indicated with No. 1). closes the bottom, floods the tube taking the water from the lump sum and balances the pressure with the external one then opens the hat. the launch valve and the compressed air removes the torpedo from the tube. during the exit the torpedo is started by bumping a start lever against a collision inside the tube. the lower guide, (indicated with No. 2), houses a trolley (No. 3) which is bound with a pulley vault (No. 4). at the other end of the tube there is a twin pulley (not visible in the photo) which postpones the cave (n° 5) free to flow into the tube (n°6).
the torpedo has 4 fins on the tail of which 3 equal and one thicker. the larger one must be inserted in the lower guide (n° 2) and at its end has a coupling system. when the torpedo leaves, paste the cart (No. 3). if everything proceeds correctly the torpedo triggers and abandons the launch tube for its destiny but, if by hypothesis the launch failed, the torpedo remains inside the tube with all the risks that this entails. then, thanks to the system of trolley and reinvigorate, it pushes the torpedo out of the tube. having the negative thrust torpedo, it will sink and the submarine will be safe again.
As for the guiding wire, along several kilometers, it is housed on a drum inside the torpedo and exits from the tail. the end brings a connector that is connected to a socket on the bottom. on the opposite side of the bottom, that is, towards the inside of the launch chamber, there is another connector that connects the weapon to its guiding console.
I hope it is clear enough.

of submarines (including sauro), if it is spoken + generically here:http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=21210
ciao
If that's why you want to look for the pages from here: http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=12036Then, you will see that the sauros also spoke.
if you interject the submarines in general, the last post of the discussion are entirely dedicated to them and, it is not over (take it as a threat! )

I also like my work but you exaggerate a little, I bet that your bed is shaped like a dash, with lots of barrels around:biggrin:
