physical mass property in ipart

hello to everyone, every once in a while I make myself alive:)

do any of you know, if you had the same need, if you can change in an ipart the value of mass property?

I explain, I have the library of an electric motor created with ipart, but of course, the value of the calculated mass autoamatically of the engine is not the real one.
Since it is still a value that, going to iproprties you can change manually for a single part, I wanted to share if someone had the same need to add this property as column of an ipart to be able to automatically be compiled to the member generation.

Hello and thank you;)

What do you mean?

yes, the engine varies in size according to the generated member

I have iparts where I only modify the characteristics of every single family (2/4/6 poles), so I have so many iparts as the engine size, in this case you manually change the weight and this remains saved.... in your case I don't know

I understand what you mean...
no in fact from me there are different partners for motors with different poles, but each one has the various sizes within itself...

nothing... thank you anyway;)

Unfortunately not.
that link explains how to have a custom iproperty that recalls the mass value and uses a macro to quickly copy/paste the "real" value of the mass for each member of the ipart.
I wanted to be able to fill in the table the actual mass parameter so that I use it in the calculation of weight.

try to generate all the possible variables of the i-part family, open them physically one by one to change the weight and save.... .
