I briefly describe my "problem"
I am building a house and in order to better exploit the cellar (which is at -1) I made a hole in the floor of the garage.
The first job is to put a "plate" a few centimeters more wide and long than the garage hole. must be enough resistors to be able to support the machine (in theory the machine does not rest on the plate, but I prefer to go on the safe)

so when the hoist is closed in the cellar, the hole is closed by the plate.

what thickness would you make this famous plate? What kind of backup?
