plan development of a pipe from a surface ---> drafting

Good morning.


I just registered and this is my first thread.

I'd like to plan this surface, as if it was "stuck" in the drafting, so I mold the drafting of the piano and echo the dima to make this part from a normal tube.

I tried with the command "develop in plan" of generative shape design but gives me these errors (second image).
I also tried with the "open view" command of drafting but it does not work.

Do you have solutions?

Hi.
probably cannot develop it as it is a continuous, unopened sup (being a tube),
try to make a small longitudinal cut along the whole tube.
