plane stress/strain thickness

hello to all are new to the forum and especially to the first weapons with abaqus and fluent. Can someone explain to me the meaning of the check in abaqus "plane stress/strain thickness" when a section is assigned? I don't think it's about the case of tensional state or flat stop but something else.

hello! Usually if you return in the case of flat state of tensions/deformations, activate the option and leave "1" to have forces and reactions per unit of length (thickness). Of course if you specify a thickness, the reactions that calculate abaqus are absolute.
