Hello, everyone.
when I used previous versions of autocad, prior to 2010, to make planners with planimetric view (from the top) it was enough to set a distant light rotated of 45° to have shadows with such angle, go into the paper space, put the model in the plant, give to the window of the press layout how to render and the game was done!
the only info about the materials I put in the model was to give the water material to any water mirrors and of course the glass material to the glass parts.
the rendering, however conceptual, therefore in the shades of gray, responded to my needs to produce a precise but decontextualized technical elaborate, with black shadows on the model parts that simulated the earth, and gray where the material that received the shadow was glass or water.
with autocad 2012 to me this thing no longer succeeds.
with the far lights there is no way to have different shadows depending on the material they invest.
and to solve the problem I have to pass by force for the background sun sky-lighting, with the aggravating that the planimetric view, to not have all black shadows, must become a perspective view to horizontal picture, because -but this already I knew - some functions of the natural light background sun sky-light in plain sight are not available!! ! ! ! !
