platform with tilting landing. Could someone help me figure out how to do it? similar to that of the attached image. the landing must open and then descend 90° so that a person climbs on it then must hold at least 80kg
to me they spent a study more or less so. the landing is mandorlato is under it is reinforced with 2 tubular and the structure welded perforated tomes. I thought I'd put a bar on it (maybe with barrel bearings) so that it could work like some sort of trap door. But I don't think I can handle the weight.
the free end of the landing (insomma, the one not hinged on the rest of the structure) will stand on some shelf/profile, right?
I ask you both because it completely changes the static behavior of the shelf (swimming vs 2 supports) and because otherwise it will be to predict a verification to the tipping of the whole structure.
Perhaps the landing holds 80kg, but if the person puts on the edge that structure probably tilts.
need more information: any support points (as reported by @ragnol), some dimensions of maximum, supporting structure to understand possible fixing points, force agents (static or even dynamic), any building limits (type of plant and hudget), etc.
You didn't answer the questions before, but whatever...
How much does the shelf weigh? because estimating its span weight based on the size of the steps of the scale, I would say that you should be able to make it raise/lower by hand, using a rope bound to one of the outer corners. always works and does not depend on electricity etc.
if norms/environment of use etc. do not allow you, instead of the human arm you can mount a small hand cranked handcuff, if of the case very demolished and/or with brake.
if the solution must be "fiqa" you can put a referral to "l" under the commanded platform or an electric actuator (such as those opening the rear door of the cars, but every time you need to connect the power supply) or (unnecessarily complex) a hydraulic piston with its tank, pump etc (and, even here, power supply...).
Sorry I didn't answer first. the free end does not support anything.
the landing weighs on the 9 kg, it will be in sheet covered with two tubes of reinforcement below.
but in those spaces marked in red so as not to let it go I put some balls according to you?
