laying and calibers for complex design components, it is fundamental to modeling through surfaces, otherwise it is likely to have over number rps and measurements or repositioning is not repeatable, otre to the fact that the modeling is abundantly speeded.

Sorry what the rps are?
Thank you.

sw ha parasolid engine you better send the files to this format I assure you that you will have less problems .x_t file. Are you sure that the parts are well shaped from the beginning?

Hi.
with a client I have been working with for a long time, we recently had a problem related to the type of 3d file.
initially with a stepap214 file there was an obvious error of geometry of the piece (I basically saw the 3d solid profile of a cam as if it were empty: completely missing the surface of the cam lobe and the base circle)
I tried to get iges sent.
then I asked for a x_t parasolid (here to gogo in different parts of the piece) and then in x_b (as for the other parsolid). talking to the customer confessed to me that using him proe, already other times had found problems in export in parasolid format

in the end we solved with a stepap203 file (as ... it is not given to know: mystery of faith  )

Unfortunately the exchange of data between different software remains problematic
