Hello everyone, in my new office we use autocad 2013 while I am accustomed to 2011,
I noticed the following problem I would like to solve: practically when I start typing the number of a length while performing a command, the polar pointing and the pointer input disappears, and the length comes out wrong. I'll explain better.
with autocad 2011 to draw a rectangle of the same length of a horizontal line on which it is rested and of height es 2 I make the following steps:
1- design the first vertex on a line leader
2- I position myself on the other end of the line and with the polar pointing I move up seeing that my pointer remains hooked on the dotted line of the polar pointing, and near it appears a text field not editable with the relative distance from the point. something like this is written to us: "Final point: xx.xxxx < 90°"
3- Regardless of the value that appears in the text field I type a number that interests me, for example 2, and so I get a rectangle with base=length line and height=2
in autocad 2013 instead, if I do the same procedure, when I type the desired value known that the temporary dotted line and the text field not editable next to the cursor disappear and consequently my rectangle comes with basic measurements of height completely packed.
I think it's due to a variable, can someone help me?
Thank you.
