Good morning, everyone! My name is davide and I'm a mechanical engineering student, I've been following the forum for some time but I don't think I've ever posted anything
from a few days I am trying to find the best way to model a protective helmet from the yard (starting from the finished product, a sort of reverse-engineering) but I am encountering several problems, in my address of studies does not include detailed courses on cad design and I am therefore beached regarding the modeling of complex surfaces.
I started simplifying geometry (I thought to add holes, protective crests and various bombings later)
cutting-scannerizing the product I have come to define some of the basic geometries (sections along the 3 main floors), at this point I do not know how many other sections I have to define to create the basic geometry (I do not need it to be 100% faithful)
the idea of departure was to use the loft function between the sections of the xy and xz floors using guides placed on the yz plane but I fear that the arrival and departure section are perpendicular and in contact cause problems, how could I proceed?View attachment 40750View attachment 40751View attachment 40752View attachment 40753I hope that the jungle of quotas does not cause headaches to anyone
Thank you!
