previews and thumbnails not present (solidworks 2017 sp 5.0)

Hello everyone, I have the problem that I don't see, in thumbnails, or file previews
solidworks (parts, assemblies and tables), making files/opens from solidworks (allego, images)

. same thing I happen even under explores windows resources.. if I ship in sw files
(on pc I have windows 7 professional, service pack 1)

windows settings are in place, xché x other file types, e.g. jpg or pdf
previews and thumbnails appear, going on files

reading a previous post, a few years ago... that quoted as ev. solution:
“try to reinstall .net framework by updating it to the latest version”
x me... is fine, in the sense, that I already have on the pc .net framework updated to the latest version

in solidworks (under tools/options/general), the function is activated:
show miniatures in explore resources

to me it happened only on a 15 pc...I solved only by formatting and reinstalling everything from new. I didn't even know what it was.
