As in the company where I work nobody cares about it, I would like to try to see if you can improve the system we work with.
In practice, we make steel furniture for the naval sector.
as a program we use microstation v8i.
our work is done so: there is a drawing together, in which we create a cartiglio, and above this is made a table, in which all the various codes of the components that make up the furniture of the assembly are inserted.
l together has a code a005000001 and the components can have different codes depending on whether they are of purchase or internal production, for example a002000002 or a002000003 if of internal production or v003000001 if of purchase.
when a piece of furniture is sent into production, a paper is made containing the drawing together and the various drawings that make it, so every time you have to make a piece and maybe in the future reuse it, you have to print one by one the various drawings that make it, and with plics from even more than 50 drawings, open every design and print it takes a long time, so I have come to mind one thing: to automate the printing of the plics.
I'll explain. I would like to see if you can create a procedure, possibly also the use of other programs, as well as microstations, which allows you to automatically print a whole piece, simply by typing the general code of furniture.

What does sheet mean? we make dgn drawings and then we put them in simple folders, I don't know what this sheet is
but is that function similar to that present in autocad to print more designs together? what I would like to get is that from a software interface, which can also not be microstation, but for example sap or a plm (I believe) , you can type the code of a drawing, which is a set, and he automatically goes to print all the drawings present in the distinct present within the drawing together. These drawings that he goes to stmpare are scattered in a archive of puts dgn, where the drawings are explained. .

hi, the sheet is "sheet", layout etc...
we put that you have a dgn file, of this you have inserted in sheet, an explosion that is called esp01, a plant that is called plan01 and a section that is called sez01, when with print organizer select the dgn, this inserts the three sheets (esp01 plan01 and sez01) automatically and you can decide whether to print one, two or all.
I have 3d files, from where I collect plants, sections, explosions etc., all inserted as saved views (with dynamic views) in sheet, then 50, 60 and over sheets per project.
with print organizer open the dgn, I have all my ready sheet for printing, I select them all and away.
It is not what you want to do, but if you insert the names of the individual parts to the sheet, you just have to select them to have the prints, and do not open them one at a time.

If you call the dgn with code, and the realativi sheet with their codes, you can import the various sheets, and in this way you can also make changes to texts etc and then go to print.
