printing problem pdf by autocad 2011 for mac

Hello.

use autocad 2011 for mac in English and I have press issues
using the adobe printer pdf 8.0

I have an executive design in scale 1: 50 and I want to print it as pdf to send it in an annex to a study. the problem is that part of the lines you see in the model and even in the layout are not printed by the virtual printer. For example, you almost never see the lines of the plaster.

Maybe I should try to print in scale 1: 20? the problem is that I should remake all the layout and I do not know if the studio would then be willing to plot my drawings on a1.
is there no way to print a pdf in a3 with maximum definition, so that you can see all lines?

from system preferences, printing and fax create a new printer (localhost). in "print with:" select the item "select printer software". here choose any wide format like a hp designjet ps or an ip canon.
I do.
