Hello everyone, I come from a long experience with pro-and 2001, often and willingly I used the *copy surface* function, basically that command that creates a kind of skin-surface through this sequence: create > surface > copy. now having to use the wildfire I can no longer find this function...

select the surface you want to copy, then ctrl+c (copy) and ctrl+v (paste) and open the menu for copying the surfaces, where you find all the various options.

Hi, maybe I didn't explain well, I meant this command

Forgive me again but I tried as you say and I get the classic menu that allows to make a solid modeling extrusion or surface, but I can't get into the surface copy area... I'll get you an image.

the surface you want to copy you have to select (become pink) and then do ctrl+c and then ctrl+v or top in the command bar select the classic copy icon and then paste it... or under modification-> copy / paste. . .

If not I can't figure out what you mean...

this because you have selected the feature, not the surface. click on the feature, then if you move the mouse you will see the pre-hilight of the various surfaces, lines and points. select the surface you need (even more than one) and copy and paste. you can use "special glue" to have more controls as copy shift etc.

I can't select the surfaces but only the features, in the specific case I have the family table of a screw that inside it has both the browned screws and those in stainless steel I as from other discussion I colevo the screws in stainless steel color different from the brunite, so I thought to copy the screw and change color to the surface then activate it or not.

But I can't select the surfaces... Help! ! !
