hi guys, after a long absence I came back from the good proe:biggrin:
I ask therefore your help for a modeling problem with surfaces.
I attach the model (wf4). I hope that the images will understand the problem.
I can't make the merge and the surface offset.
if someone can tell me the "right way"
Thank you.

first of all okkio because in the model you posted there is something wrong, see jpeg

I fixed the model with one of the possible solutions.

it seems that in the flat surface there is something wrong, I sincerely would have opted for other solutions to make that surface because starting from a surface extrusion of a line is not ideal, however then I tried to give it thickness 3 removing both poppette and pocket for the moment....

In short, the road is there, you have to put your hands on it but you can get to the solution...

ecchilo... joined and often.
There's something wrong with geometry... but you know, people who use caty or nx forget how things should be done.

Thanks simra, what I was looking for is a double curvature, as attached image.

thanks maxopus, what I look for is a 3 mm offset external to the surface but proe fails. There's probably a surface attachment problem I can't find.

However the problem is in the flat surface, the duct at the end is often even out of 3 mm (not 6 as it did maxopus!)

That's what I'm looking for.
Thank you:

hi stef let me tell you that in this case you have made some mistakes of approach to modeling.
There are problems of incoherence when you go often

Okay, but how can I change the geometry to get to the desired result?

stef, there are several problems.
I have to find a couple of hours free to fix it all up, today I don't think I'm doing it in time.
