problem automatic assignment current layer to existing objects

after applying a certain object to a layer, this automatically assumes the current layer property as seen from image qui. Can you tell me why this is happening to me? I press that it always worked well... maybe I set some variables I didn't have to?

Yes, specific in details: if I design the doors and apply the layer doors this assumes the ownership of current layer, in fact as I point out in the attached image the check mark (the green one of the state) passes from zero layer to door layer. in practice this should not happen because even if I apply a new layer to an object the state (green check mark) should always remain in the zero layer. It is true that the state (check mark) can always move it from layer doors to put it back in layer zero but I do not see why autocad should move it automatically. I beg you never did.

which version of autocad uses
Are the doors blocks? and if yes, on which floor were drawn? or are they inserted from the outside?

1- I prepare layers
2- drawing the door
3- open the owner layer and select the door by applying the door layer
the doors are not blocks and my version of autocad is 2007.

point 3. you can't, from the layer manager, change layers to an object, but only from the property window, also because you've noticed that the object doesn't change layers.

Did you check that the door layer has become really current (i.e. if you draw a new object goes to the green layer) or is it just a layer manager pane display error?

autocad mysteries... in a new file the problem no longer exists. the problem would be solved, I did not understand what might have caused the ark problem, for the moment it is ok. thanks joseph and planner for support.
